Elegant, rich and definitely a statement ring. The warm and rich patina of antique 18KT Gold is unmatched. The hand engraved setting is very much a signet style set with a natural oval cabochon black opal that shows a play of color with vibrant red, green and blue dancing in the light. Extremely well crafted with a rolled edge of gold making this a very comfortable ring to wear. A true statement ring and very much a reflection of the Georgian period with a closed back setting. The Black Opal was a later addition but is a vintage stone. (Approx. 2.20 Carats) Size 7.5 but can be resized. No marks but has been tested. An independent gemological appraisal accompanies this ring at purchase.
